This last weekend provided the perfect time to get a start on this list.
Except we decided to shirk all responsibility and head to the cabin. Just me and Deke. We accomplished nothing. It was pure awesomeness.
Our entire weekend consisted of:
Movies (6 to be exact)
Sleeping in
Staying up late
Eating
A little bit of romance
Phase 10
Trespassing on other people's property to ogle over their gorgeous cabins
But the best part of all was that I got to spend it all one on one with this cheese ball:
I can't think of a better way to spend the weekend!
There's nothing like a little vacation to surge in some energy! I now feel rejuvenated and ready to tackle my list!....Well...atleast to start thinking about tackling it...

I completely understand the list! We have had a similar list going on for awhile but had to get going a little sooner in case I was put on bed rest. I think we have made more DI runs in the past few months then ever in our lives. Good luck with everything. I have done a lot of research on baby things lately so if you have any questions let me know!
Wow your list is long..but that is exciting that you have that list and its actually kinda fun stuff well atleast the baby stuff! can't wait to see the little munchkin!!
Yikes. I sympathize. It's crazy how much preparation one small human requires! I have got to do the whole "covert storage room to baby room" thing too- ugh. I'm starting to get nervous about the lack of time too- what if these babies of ours come early?! AHHH!! Somewhere in the craziness we need to get together!
It's a good thing you took the time to do that...just enjoy it while you can! Personally I would do it every weekened for the next 2 months if I were you.
How fun....Sounds like the nesting instinct is kicking in!!
P.S. I prefer to think of this darling little bundle as our precious grandaughter rather than a bomb going off!!! (just had to tease you there!)
Hey Jen. Thanks for commenting on my blog. I will do an official post to answer more questions but I wanted to let you know now what we did for a car seats. We have a Honda Pilot so we had to pick car seats the can fit 3 across. We found out the Graco Snugride's did and they are in the top 3 on Consumer Reports. So we got the Graco Snugride 32's for the girls and a regulre snugride for the boy (mainly because Brack had a certain pattern he wanted for the boy). We had to totally take into account cost and quality with 3. It seems like a good choice. We love them!
Amen sister! Good for you. To-do lists really are sooooo overrated. Plus, you have plenty of time. I don't think Trevor's crib arrived until he was two months old. We had a crib mattress, and since they can't roll - that worked well enough until we picked a crib. But then again, its sooo nice to have things ready and in order beforehand as well as while your body is still somewhat in an up and running state.
And for the rec, I'm totally impressed you got a picture of this guy. That's a major accomplishment - but I'm so glad you got to hang with your cheeseball!
Sounds like a fun weekend! Good luck with that to-do list!
sounds fabulous!
