this is the place

in effort to make the catch up process easier, i've decided all my summer posts about particular events will follow the 5W's format. easy to write. easy to read. easy peasy all around. so first up, this is the place park.

who: me, reese, grandma, sisters-in-law and sister and kids, cousin meg
where: this is the place state park, salt lake city, ut
what for: to get out and about and explore and eat farr's ice cream and maybe learn something about the pioneers
when: wed june 30
why: annie and fam came in town, so we all brought the kiddos and had a grand ol' time. my favorite part was the petting zoo. awesome.

the whole gang eating farr's ice cream! i have to say, that farr's bubble gum ice cream is even better than it was when i was 7. i'm still dreaming about it.
