luv lu dis much, i wanna know: i love you this much, i want you to know. this is a line from one of her favorite books, the monster book. melts my heart every time she says it to me.
jussa' second: just a second. usually done with her pointer finger held up. said when she doesn't want to do something right away

daddy's wokin': daddy's working. several times through the day she'll ask where daddy is and then answers her own question.
chippers: scriptures. loves to climb on the coffee table with her baby doll and "read baby da chippers."
funny little stories
she received a new red radio flyer bike for her birthday. she LOVES
bikes and at playgroup i was always having to kick her off other people's bikes
since she didn't have her own. the day after her birthday she was riding her
new bike in the kitchen and yelling/singing at the top of her lungs: "this
my bike, that my bike, my bike, my bike, this my bike, my bike!!!!" over
and over and over again. needless to say, she's happy she now has her very own
set of wheels. the other day she came up to me holding a nickel saying, "oh mommy, guess what, wook at dis!!" i looked closer and she was pointing to the face on the nickel. then she yelled, "it's jesus!!" {except she used his full name, but i feel weird typing that out...}. she thinks every man with longer than your average male haircut is jesus. awesome.
i had put her birthday cake {covered with plastic wrap} on the counter. While in my room I heard a delighted little squeal, "mmmm......sugar!!!" she came running into my room with a big glob of frosting on her finger, "mommy, sugar!!!" when i went into the kitchen a big swipe of frosting had been taken off of the side of her cake.
we love our little reese so much. why does time have to go so fast? i have to say, the stage she's in right now is adorable - her speech, her dancing, even her independent little persona. we love it all.
love you reese!!!
